Brief
Our Graphic Design team was invited to join a corporate project with seven other groups comprised of industrial design and web design students. The brief given to us by Fiat Chrysler Automotive was to create halo convertible coupes to show potential future design directions for their sub-brands, Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
Background
The graphic design team took on overall project management, creating master moodboards from all the students’ submitted ideas. From there we built out guidelines for presentations, color palettes, and typography. We provided design assistance to the various teams and worked on team-specific tasks, including building a presentation space to highlight all the teams’ work and process. I created logos for each team’s car, assisted web designers with building gauge systems for the Maseratis, as well as building one myself. I helped make a large portfolio book to show the process of the entire project.
